How to build and edit email templates with HTML

You can build child templates or master templates from scratch in Ometria.

Create a new child template

First, find your Master Template in the Templates screen.

In Ometria, go to: Campaigns > Templates > Select the campaign type (Broadcast, Automation or Transactional).

Filter your templates to show only Master templates: 

Click Edit to open the editable HTML.

Copy all of this text and then EXIT the screen.

Next, click Create new template and select From HTML > Create HTML template.

Paste the HTML code you copied into your new child template. 

You can start editing your code here.

Remember to SAVE your changes.

Create a new master template

You might want to create your own master template to build child templates from.

To do this, follow the steps above to copy the code from an existing master.

Next, click the drop-down on Create new template and select Create new master template.
